Egyptian Naval Vessels
We build our naval vessels to go on the Nile River. We feel that it is imprtant to have some form of pretection on the river as we feel that we are vulnerable if we don't do this. Our ships are fairly easy to sail but are very easily damaged and cannot withstand much in the way of rough seas which is why we keep them on the Nile River.
Common Weapons
Here is a list of some of our common weapons and their uses strengths and weaknesses.
Double Compound Bow:
This bow is used for precise and somewhat long range archery. One advantage is that it is easier to hold at full draw and allows for the shooter to be more accurate. One disadvantage is that the bow has to be adjusted depending on the user.
Battle Axe:
The battle axe is used to cause sever bodily harm to an enemy from close range. One advantage of the battle axe is the great amount of damage it does when solid contact is made. One disadvantage is that the handle would often be broken rendering the blade nearly useless.
Throwing Sticks:
We use throwing sticks to harm and enemy from a little further away than with the battle axe. One advantage of the throwing stick is the safety it provides the user by not having to be so close ot the enemy. One disadvantage is thatif the thrower is inaccurate he won't be very useful with a throwing stick.
Battering Rams:
The battering ram is used to break through sturdy objects. One advantage is that it can break through very sturdy walls and fortresses. One disadvantage is that they sometimes break when used too much.

Chariot
We have come to find the chariot very useful in our battles while it does have some disadvantages also. The advantages include the speed with which one can move in the chariot and also the arrows that can be carried in it. Some disadvantages are that you are a more vulnerable target, and the horse would often times be injured very easily.
Uniforms and Weapons
Our soldiers are very tough but also very basic. When going into battle they wera only a short kilt and have a feather in their hair so they can be recognized. We also have two basic types of soldiers: the light infantryman and the heavy infantryman. A light infantryman carries a bow and arrow and the heavy infantryman carries a shield and bronze sword.

Battle Leader
The Pharoah is the commander in chief of the army and he leads his army into battle and is very active in the battles that his army takes part in.
Post-Invasion Army
After we were invaded by the Hyksos we created a much more powerful, organized, sophisticated, and trained army. We also started to adapt new weapons and make better weapons.
Pre-Invasion Army
We had a loosely organized army before we were invaded by the Hyksos. We used inferior wepaons and we really only raised an army in times of need. The army was made up of mostly older men and inexperienced young men and was not very powerful. Before fighting foreign countries the army was used primarily for guards, trade ship escorts, and border police.
