The battle axe is used to cause sever bodily harm to an enemy from close range. One advantage of the battle axe is the great amount of damage it does when solid contact is made. One disadvantage is that the handle would often be broken rendering the blade nearly useless.
Throwing Sticks:
We use throwing sticks to harm and enemy from a little further away than with the battle axe. One advantage of the throwing stick is the safety it provides the user by not having to be so close ot the enemy. One disadvantage is thatif the thrower is inaccurate he won't be very useful with a throwing stick.
Battering Rams:
The battering ram is used to break through sturdy objects. One advantage is that it can break through very sturdy walls and fortresses. One disadvantage is that they sometimes break when used too much.
